Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Access Control Supervisor to oversee security operations during the Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. shift. In this vital role, you will manage access points, monitor surveillance systems, and ensure the safety of personnel and property. Your leadership will help maintain a secure environment by enforcing protocols, managing conflict, and coordinating with emergency responders when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Supervise access control procedures, authorizing entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors
• Monitor CCTV surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity or security breaches
• Enforce security policies and manage conflict resolution with professionalism and tact
• Conduct regular visual inspections of access points, fences, and surrounding areas to ensure integrity
• Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement or first responders as needed
• Maintain detailed logs of access activities, incident reports, and shift documentation
• Train and guide security staff in surveillance techniques, loss prevention strategies, and conflict management

Experience

• Prior experience in security operations or law enforcement is highly desirable
• Knowledge of CCTV systems, surveillance techniques, and loss prevention methods
• Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; additional certifications such as military or law enforcement training are advantageous
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle tense situations calmly
• Familiarity with security protocols related to access control and asset protection
