Part-Time Concierge Security Officer (Unarmed)

Highline Security is seeking professional, customer-focused Unarmed Concierge Security Officers to join our growing team. We are currently hiring 3 part-time officers for an upscale residential/community property located in Downtown Jacksonville.

This position combines traditional security duties with concierge-style customer service. Officers serve as the first point of contact for residents, guests, vendors, and property management while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.

Position Overview

As a Concierge Security Officer, you will provide a visible security presence, monitor property activity, assist residents and guests, and enforce property rules while delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents, guests, vendors, and visitors professionally
• Monitor building access and visitor entry
• Verify guest and vendor authorization
• Conduct routine foot patrols of common areas, amenities, parking areas, stairwells, and building perimeter
• Observe and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, or policy violations
• Respond to resident concerns and service requests
• Assist with package management and delivery verification when required
• Maintain detailed daily activity reports and incident reports
• Monitor CCTV cameras and security systems
• Coordinate with local law enforcement, fire, and emergency services when necessary
• Enforce community rules and property policies
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
• Assist property management with security-related concerns

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid Florida Class D Security License (Required)
• Valid Driver License with clean driving record
• Minimum 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to pass background screening
• Reliable transportation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Professional appearance and customer service mindset
• Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Military experience
• Law enforcement, corrections, or public safety experience
• Concierge, hospitality, hotel, or residential security experience
• Prior apartment, condominium, or HOA security experience
• CPR/AED/First Aid Certification
• Experience with report writing and incident documentation
