Security Officer

We are seeking a dependable and professional Corporate Security Officer to support weekend overnight operations at the Valley National Bank Corporate facility. This position requires an individual who is attentive, punctual, and committed to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for employees and visitors.

Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, & Sunday 3pm-11pm

Pay rate: $18/hr

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a visible security presence throughout the facility during assigned shifts
• Conduct two scheduled interior and exterior patrol tours per shift, ensuring all areas are secure and operating properly
• Monitor the building fire panel, take a clear photo of the panel status, and text the image to the building engineer as required
• Provide professional customer service by greeting employees and assisting with general inquiries
• Observe, report, and document any unusual or suspicious activity in accordance with company procedures
• Ensure all assigned posts are properly covered and operational standards are maintained

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2–3 years of corporate security experience required
• Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to walk patrol tours diligently and remain alert throughout the shift
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the work location
• Ability to follow post orders and maintain professional conduct at all times
