SIA Door Supervisor

Job Overview

We are seeking a professional and vigilant SIA Door Supervisor to ensure the safety and security of premises, staff, and visitors. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment at various venues, managing access control, and providing excellent customer service. This role requires a confident presence, strong observational skills, and the ability to respond swiftly to any incidents. All positions are paid, including internships, and prior security experience is advantageous but not essential as training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Monitor entrances and exits to regulate access and prevent unauthorised entrance
• Manage crowd control during events or busy periods to maintain order and safety
• Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, including providing first aid if necessary
• Enforce venue policies in a professional manner while delivering excellent customer service
• Maintain detailed incident reports when required and communicate effectively with team members and management
• Conduct regular patrols of the venue to identify hazards or suspicious activity
• Excellent observational skills with keen attention to detail in identifying potential risks or security breaches
• First aid certification or willingness to undertake training to provide emergency assistance
• Confident communication skills for engaging with the public, staff, and emergency services when necessary
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations professionally
• Organised approach to managing multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
