Security Agent

Overview

As a Security Agent, you help maintain a safe, orderly environment through attentive observation, clear communication and prompt, proportionate responses. You stay alert to changing situations, follow established procedures and work constructively with colleagues to support people on site.

Duties

• Monitor the area through regular patrols and CCTV, noting unusual activity and reporting concerns promptly.
• Apply loss prevention procedures, observe potential risks and communicate relevant information to colleagues.
• Respond calmly to incidents, assist people where appropriate and follow site procedures when escalating concerns.
• Keep clear, accurate records of observations and actions, sharing updates with colleagues who need them.

Skills

Required: You bring sound observation, clear communication and the ability to remain calm, follow procedures and record information accurately. These practical capabilities support effective surveillance, responsible incident response and consistent loss prevention. Preferred: Experience using CCTV or applying loss prevention practices is advantageous, as is first aid knowledge. Your impact: Timely, accurate observations help colleagues respond to concerns and support a safer environment for everyone on site.

Pay: £13.05 per hour

Expected hours: 6.0 per week
