Contract: Average 54 hours per week

Shift Pattern:

• Week 1: Saturday–Sunday (Day), Monday–Tuesday (Night)
• Week 2: Saturday–Sunday (Day), Monday–Tuesday-Wednesday (Night)
  Overtime available.

Shift Times:

• Day: 07:00 – 19:00
• Night: 19:00 – 07:00

Hourly Rate: £13.85 per hour (paid breaks)

Role Overview

As a Security Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, security, and customer service standards of our site. You will work closely with the on-site supervisor and management team to carry out all duties to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• • Deliver excellent customer service at all times
  • Complete all assigned duties as per instructions from supervisors and management
  • Report and act on any security breaches to line managers and the 24-hour control room
  • Assist with any security, safety, or criminal investigations
  • Log all incidents in the reporting system accurately and promptly
  • Conduct internal and external patrols of buildings and car parks
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and regulatory standards
  • Follow all site-specific Assignment Instructions (AIs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Risk Assessments (RAs), memos, and toolbox talks
  • Wear and maintain a valid SIA licence while on duty
  • Operate CCTV equipment where required
  • Attend training courses as directed
  • Comply with all legal, health, and safety requirements of the role
  • Managing the Security Control Room with the Supervisor

Requirements

Essential:

• • Previous security experience
  • Hold SIA DS or SG Licence
  • Valid CCTV SIA Licence
  • Police Vetting must be passed within 3months.

Desirable:

• • Experience working in a busy reception environment
  • Experience within a museum or cultural venue
