Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and personable Head Concierge to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for residents and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth operations within our property management environment. This role requires a professional with strong administrative skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience in property management or related fields. The Head Concierge will oversee daily front desk activities, coordinate services, and foster positive relationships with residents, vendors, and staff.

Position overview:

Role: Full-Time, Permanent – Site Supervisor

Reports to: Client, and 369 Secure Management

Location: Liberty Village

Schedule: Monday to Friday from 0800 – 1600, 80 Hours Biweekly

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Greet residents, visitors, contractors, and vendors with professionalism and courtesy while maintaining excellent customer service and phone etiquette.
  • Manage resident inquiries, complaints, and service requests through phone, email, and in-person communication, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Oversee daily concierge and security operations to maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for residents and guests.
  • Conduct regular foot patrols of the property, including common areas, stairwells, parking areas, perimeter zones, and high-rise floors.
  • Monitor access points, gates, doors, storage areas, and restricted zones to ensure site security and authorized access only.
  • Respond to incidents, emergencies, alarms, disturbances, and safety concerns in accordance with company policies and emergency procedures.
  • Utilize concierge plus and other property management software for resident management, lease processing, visitor tracking, and administrative reporting.
  • Coordinate maintenance requests through CMMS systems and communicate effectively with maintenance teams and contractors.
  • Prepare accurate daily logs, incident reports, occurrence reports, and administrative records in compliance with company and property policies.
  • Support property management operations by scheduling appointments, managing office supplies, organizing documentation, and overseeing administrative functions.
  • Assist with resident engagement initiatives, leasing inquiries, and community-related activities to promote a positive residential experience.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, post orders, emergency procedures, and property standards.
  • Maintain strong communication with property management, contractors, site supervisors, and security management regarding operational concerns and incidents.
  • Monitor and report safety hazards including unsecured equipment, water leaks, structural concerns, and unsafe activities.
  • Negotiate and coordinate vendor or service agreements when required to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Maintain professionalism, situational awareness, and high attention to detail at all times.
  • Manage and direct your team accordingly.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Must hold a valid Ontario Security Guard License.
  • Must possess valid CPR/First Aid Level C certification (WSIB approved).
  • Minimum of 3 years of security, concierge, property management, or customer service experience preferred.
  • Experience in condominium, residential, hospitality, or property management environments is considered an asset.
  • Proficiency with concierge plus or similar property management software is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of Section 494, the Trespass to Property Act, and relevant sections of the Criminal Code.
  • Education in Police Foundations, Criminology, Law Enforcement, Security & Investigations, Property Management, or related fields is considered an asset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism, emotional intelligence, objectivity, and confidentiality.
  • Strong administrative, organizational, and report-writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts if required.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
  • Must be physically capable of performing foot patrols in multi-story and high-rise buildings.
  • Ability to obtain required certifications including Working at Heights/Fall Protection, Propane Safety Training, and Health & Safety Awareness certifications.

Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
