Security Guard

Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to maintain safety and security at our facility. This role involves monitoring premises, preventing loss, and ensuring a safe environment for employees, visitors, and property. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to security incidents. Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security risks
• Monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to observe activity and detect suspicious behavior
• Enforce company policies related to loss prevention and safety protocols
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or security breaches and coordinate with law enforcement if necessary
• Maintain detailed incident reports and document all security-related activities accurately
• Control access points by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, or vendors
• Assist with crowd control during events or high-traffic periods as needed
• Conduct security checks of buildings, equipment, and property to ensure everything is secure

Qualifications

• Previous experience in law enforcement, security, or related fields is preferred
• Knowledge of surveillance systems, CCTV operation, and loss prevention techniques
• Strong observational skills with keen attention to detail
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
• Excellent communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and effectively
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform patrol duties across large areas
• Must pass background checks and adhere to all safety regulations and protocols

Pay: $17.20-$22.00 per hour
