Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and vigilant Access Control Officer to oversee entry and exit points, monitor security systems, and maintain a safe environment during the Friday to Tuesday, 3 PM to 11 PM shift. This role involves controlling access, conducting surveillance, and responding promptly to incidents, ensuring the highest standards of security are upheld at all times.

Duties

• Authorize and verify access for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors in accordance with company protocols
• Monitor CCTV surveillance systems to observe activity around the premises and identify potential security threats
• Conduct visual inspections of personnel and packages to prevent theft or unauthorized access
• Respond swiftly to security incidents, utilizing conflict management skills when necessary
• Maintain accurate logs of all access activities, incidents, and surveillance footage for reporting purposes
• Assist in emergency situations by providing first aid or CPR if required, coordinating with emergency responders as needed
• Enforce loss prevention policies by identifying suspicious behavior and taking appropriate action

Experience

• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military, or related fields is highly desirable
• Knowledge of CCTV systems and surveillance techniques is essential
• Certification or training in first aid, CPR, conflict management, or law enforcement procedures is a plus
• Strong understanding of loss prevention strategies and security protocols
• Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing conflicts effectively
