Job Summary

Multiple part time and full time shifts available. Must have clean driving record and valid California driver license.

Thursday and Friday day shift and midnight shifts available.

Saturday-Wednesday overnight shift availabl.

We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Unarmed Security Guard to uphold safety and security across our premises. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring the property, controlling access points, and ensuring a secure environment for staff, visitors, and assets. Your proactive approach and keen observation skills will help prevent incidents and respond effectively to emergencies. Duties

• Conduct regular patrols of the facility using CCTV surveillance systems to monitor activity and identify potential security risks.
• Manage access control systems to verify identities, check credentials, and authorize entry for authorized personnel, visitors, and contractors.
• Respond swiftly to emergency situations by following established protocols, including performing first aid, CPR, AED operation, or fire safety procedures as needed.
• Write detailed incident reports documenting security breaches, accidents, or suspicious activities with clarity and accuracy.
• Perform background checks on new employees or visitors when required to ensure compliance with security policies.
• Utilize manual handling techniques safely when assisting with heavy lifting or moving items during patrols or incident response.
• Engage in conflict de-escalation and conflict management strategies to resolve disputes peacefully while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Support law enforcement agencies during investigations or incidents by providing relevant information and assistance.
• Maintain compliance with all security regulations, policies, and procedures to uphold the integrity of the security program.
• Assist in performing routine inspections of premises to identify vulnerabilities related to physical security or fire hazards.

Experience

• Prior experience in security roles, military service, law enforcement or related fields demonstrating strong surveillance skills and familiarity with security protocols.
• Knowledge of CCTV systems, access control systems, incident report writing, and emergency response procedures.
• Training or certification in first aid, CPR, AED operation, Taser use (if applicable), and fire safety is highly desirable.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and effectively during patrols or incident responses.
• Experience in conflict de-escalation techniques and managing difficult situations professionally.
• Familiarity with legal compliance related to physical security measures and privacy regulations is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse audiences.
