Unarmed Protection Agent / Santa Cruz

We’re seeking an experienced Security Agent to help protect our property, assets, and staff while preventing any unlawful or inappropriate activity. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in public safety and security and always show the highest integrity. Cannabis Experience is a must.

Responsibilities include patrolling the premises to maintain visibility, monitoring entrances and exits to allow only authorized access, removing trespassers when needed, serving as a physical deterrent around the exterior, responding to suspicious activity, and providing hourly and incident reports. Electronic device check in system for guest as they come in and ID verification.

Preferred qualifications are prior experience as a Security Officer or similar role, valid security officer registration, strong knowledge of safety and security procedures, excellent writing and reporting skills, ability to operate surveillance equipment, professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Schedule is 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. with open availability.
