Execushield, Inc. is currently recruiting responsible and proactive Part Time Unarmed security officer for our Congregation San Francisco Site.

PART TIME :

ARMED ON THURSDAY FROM 7:00AM TO 3:30PM

UNARMED ON FRIDAY – 3:30PM TO 12:00AM

STREET PARKING (LOCAL/PUBLIC TRANSIT PREFERRED)

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Unarmed Security Officer to join our team at a prominent Jewish congregation in San Francisco. This part-time position requires a professional with strong security skills, excellent conflict management abilities, and a commitment to maintaining a safe environment for all attendees. This role offers an opportunity to serve the community while ensuring safety and order during congregational activities.

Responsibilities

· Monitor the premises using CCTV and surveillance equipment to detect suspicious activity or security breaches

· Conduct regular patrols of the facility to ensure safety and security standards are maintained

· Respond promptly and effectively to any incidents or emergencies.

· Enforce rules and regulations to prevent unauthorized access and maintain order within the congregation area

· Manage conflicts or disturbances with professionalism, utilizing conflict management skills to de-escalate situations

· Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary and document incidents thoroughly in reports

· Provide a visible security presence to reassure attendees and staff

Requirements:

· Proven experience in law enforcement, military, or private security roles preferred

· Valid certification in first aid, CPR, and conflict management (or willingness to obtain upon hire)

· Knowledge of CCTV systems, surveillance techniques

· Strong observational skills and attention to detail in monitoring large crowds and premises

· Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally while maintaining a high level of alertness

· Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members, law enforcement, and the public

· Must be physically fit, able to stand for extended periods, and capable of responding swiftly during emergencies

· Prior experience in security operations involving conflict resolution, CCTV monitoring, is highly desirable

Employment Minimum Qualifications:

· 25 years or older

· Current BSIS Guard Card

· Be able to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing

· Ability to work independently within a team-oriented framework

· Pre-employment drug screen and background check.

· Completion of Execushield Firearm assessment during hiring process.

· Two years Firearm experience

· Minimum One (2) year security guard experience preferred.

· Authorized to work in the U.S.

· Reliable transportation or transit alternative

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

· Frequently utilize visual acuity to read technical information
