Duties

• Conduct regular patrols of the property to identify potential security risks or unauthorized access
• Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras to oversee activity across the premises
• Verify the identity of visitors, contractors, and vendors, ensuring proper authorization before granting access
• Respond promptly to alarms or suspicious activity, escalating incidents as necessary
• Assist in conflict management by calmly addressing disputes or disturbances with professionalism and tact
• Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks for reporting purposes
• Support loss prevention efforts by observing for theft or vandalism and reporting findings accordingly

Skills

• Strong observational skills with the ability to detect unusual or suspicious behavior
• Excellent conflict management and de-escalation abilities to handle tense situations effectively
• Knowledge of surveillance technology such as CCTV systems and alarm monitoring
• Basic first aid certification to assist in emergencies when needed
