We are currently accepting applications for School Security Officers in the San Antonio area.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible security presence on school grounds to deter unauthorized access and ensure safety.
• Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies, including medical situations requiring CPR or first aid.
• Manage conflict resolution with professionalism and calmness, de-escalating tense situations effectively.
• Enforce school policies related to loss prevention, access control, and student safety protocols.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or emergencies, providing detailed reports as needed.
• Perform routine inspections of facilities and security equipment to ensure operational readiness and compliance.Experience
• Prior law enforcement or military experience is highly desirable, providing a strong foundation in security procedures and conflict management.
• Certified in first aid and CPR, with the ability to respond confidently during medical emergencies.
• Background in security operations, loss prevention, or related fields preferred.
• Knowledge of conflict management techniques and the ability to handle challenging situations professionally.

Pay: $17.00 – $18.00 per hour
