Level II Security Officers for the Walmart-Austin Hwy location

Job Overview/Duties:

• Inside Security officer will patrol the inside of the facility on foot and vital store areas identified
• Security officer will report safety issues as identified in daily reporting application and to store management and/or AP staff.
• Security officer will patrol outside parking lots, parking garage or stairwells as needed and requested by store management and/or AP staff
• Security officer will observe and report all suspicious/criminal activity to store management and/or AP staff
• Security officer will submit written reports to store management and/or AP staff of any observed and/or reported incidents
• Security officer will perform services in a prompt and professional manner and when engaged by customers, refer them to store management for assistance
• Security officer will assist with emergency situations as directed by store management, local law enforcement or other emergency services.
• Security officer will complete daily activity and incident reports as outlined in their job site security procedures.
• Officers will be required to download the operating application onto their smartphone to accept shifts, clock in/out, scan checkpoints throughout shifts, and make reports.
• Security officer will maintain open line of communication with their supervisor or Manager

Qualifications for location:

· Must be at least 21 years old

· High school diploma/GED

· Must have a valid Driver’s License with good driving history or valid ID.

· Possess a valid Level II Security License in state of employment.

· Must be able to pass an onsite drug screen and background check.

· Comfortable kneeling, carrying, bending, walking, standing, or sitting for extended periods of time.

· Ability to perform continuous physical movement/exertion as needed.

· Proficient written and oral communication skills

· Working mobile cellular phone with ability to download and utilize Security Application

Pay:

$14.00/per hour

· Job is in San Antonio, Texas. Must be able to commute or plan to relocate before starting work.

Friday – 6:00am-2:30pm

Saturday- 6:00 am-2:30pm

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 per hour
