What You’ll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a retail location.

Respond to incidents, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting details and notifying appropriate personnel.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.

Monitor entrances, exits, high-traffic areas, and restricted spaces to help to identify potential concerns and support loss prevention and asset protection efforts.

Interact with staff, visitors, and vendors in a professional manner while supporting access control, reporting hazards or maintenance concerns, and following post orders.
Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 21 years of age.

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Level III Armed Guard Card is required in Texas only.

CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
