Full Time Unarmed Security Officer

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Full Time Unarmed Security Officer to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment across our facilities by monitoring premises, controlling access points, and responding promptly to incidents. Your proactive approach will help prevent security breaches, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and provide excellent customer service to all visitors and staff. Located in North Scottsdale, (Loop 101/56th St)

Shift – 10:00 pm – 6:00 am M-F

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security risks and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Manage access control systems to authorize entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
• Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to observe activity and detect suspicious behavior.
• Respond swiftly and effectively to emergencies, including medical incidents, fire alarms, or security breaches.
• Write detailed incident reports documenting any security-related events or concerns accurately and promptly.
• Enforce security regulations and policies while maintaining a professional and approachable demeanor.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques and security technology such as access control systems.
• Experience with law enforcement procedures, incident report writing, and emergency response protocols.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting when necessary for equipment or incident management.
• Familiarity with conflict de-escalation strategies and conflict management skills to handle challenging situations calmly.
• Certification in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation, and fire safety is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of security tools such as Tasers (where legal), fire alarm systems, and compliance with security regulations.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse individuals.
