As a Security Officer, you will play a critical role in maintaining a secure environment through proactive patrols, strong situational awareness, and rapid response to potential threats. Your presence is essential in preventing incidents, managing risks, and upholding the high standards BPA is known for.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct active patrols of assigned properties to deter and detect suspicious activity.
• Monitor premises and, when applicable, utilize surveillance systems (CCTV).
• Control access points and verify all employees, guests, vendors, and contractors.
• Provide a strong visible security presence to prevent theft, trespassing, or disturbances.
• Respond quickly and professionally to incidents, emergencies, or safety concerns.
• Apply conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques when handling situations.
• Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services when required.
• Support event operations, executive protection details, or patrol services depending on assignment.
• Maintain accurate and detailed Daily Activity Reports (DARs) and incident reports.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience in security, law enforcement, military, or related fields preferred.
• Valid Arizona Guard Card (armed or unarmed depending on role).
• CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain).
• Strong understanding of security procedures, risk assessment, and situational awareness.
• Ability to remain alert and professional in fast-paced or high-pressure environments.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and reporting.
• Physically capable of conducting patrols and responding quickly when needed.

Our Mission

Pay: $18.00 – $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
