On-Call Armed (Red Card only) Security Officer

We are currently seeking highly skilled and motivated Red Card certified Security Officers to join our team immediately. As an Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees. This is a great opportunity for retired individuals and/or those looking for PT weekend work either 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift with a potential opportunity for FT. A strong background in security or law enforcement is a must.

• Valid Delaware RED Card certification (required)
• First Aid and CPR certification (preferred)
• Training in de-escalation techniques and conflict resolution
• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or military service (preferred)
• Clean criminal background check and fingerprint clearance
• Ability to pass a drug screening
• Reliable Transportation (required)

”’Physical & Medical Requirements”

• Ability to walk extensively, including stairs, for extended periods
• Ability to lift, carry, or move objects or individuals as needed
• Adequate hearing and vision to monitor surroundings effectively
• Ability to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations

Responsibilities“`
-Conduct regular patrols of the premises, including walking stairs and different areas

• Identify and respond appropriately to suspicious activity or security breaches
• Remove or detain individuals as authorized and necessary, following legal and safety guidelines
• Respond to emergencies, including medical incidents, fires, or security threats
• Assist Cleint and their guest professionally and courteously
• Coordinate with local law enforcement or emergency services as needed
• Maintain a visible security presence at all times

• Proficient in report writing, incident documentation, and daily activity logs (if required)

• Ability to make quick decisions and act decisively
• Knowledge of security operations and emergency procedures as outlined by Policies and Procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Customer service-oriented attitude
