Armed Security Guard

Security company seeking experienced armed (Act 235 certified) Security Guard. All applicants must be professional, willing to travel and able to provide our clients the best service in the industry. Mandatory training is provided upon hire. All retired military and law enforcement personnel are encouraged to apply, must be Act 235 certified. Hourly rate is based on professional background and experience in the field of security.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a high school diploma or GED

Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree preferred (not required)

Must have an Act 235 certification

Must be 21 years old or older

Must be in good physical condition with no medical restrictions

Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Must have reliable means of transportation

Must be able to pass FBI Clearance

Must obtain a PA State Criminal Clearance

Must have Security Guard experience

Ability to comprehend and utilize the English language, written and verbal

Must have an active email address with basic computer skills

Must have an active smart cell phone

Must be able to interact with the public on a professional level

No visible tattoos on your hands, neck or face

DUTIES:

• Conduct required patrols of the assigned site on foot or in vehicle
• Monitors and conducts surveillance of an assigned site
• Contact, coordinate and cooperate with law enforcement agencies when an incident occurs
• Prepare any required incident documentation needed at a site
• Utilize appropriate force to preserve order when needed
• Ensure at all times the safety and security of the client, the site and all personnel are protected

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $21.00 – $25.00 per hour

• Security: 2 years (Preferred)
