Security Guard **PER-DIEM

WeStaff Healthcare LLC is currently seeking reliable and attentive Security Guards to join our team at Chapin Home for the Aging, a skilled nursing facility. The Security Guard will help maintain a safe and secure environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

Shift available:

• Official schedule will be provided by the facility

**Guard Card in good standing is required!

Responsibilities:

• Patrol designated areas of the facility, including off-site premises and parking areas
• Monitor the building to ensure the safety and security of residents, visitors, and employees
• Respond to security or safety incidents and emergencies as needed
• Maintain a visible presence to prevent unauthorized access or disturbances
• Write clear and factual incident reports
• Follow facility policies and procedures while supporting the facility’s commitment to quality care and safety
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Administrator or management

Qualifications:

• Good standing NYS Guard Card is REQUIRED
• Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to interact effectively with staff, residents, visitors, and the public
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and respond to emergencies
• Must demonstrate professionalism, tact, and sound judgment
