NY Unarmed Guard (Manhattan, NY)

AX9 Security is seeking a reliable Security Officer for a residential building in Manhattan, NY. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a safe and secure environment for residents, guests, and staff.

Job Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the building, ensuring only authorized individuals enter the property.
• Greet residents, visitors, and vendors in a professional and courteous manner.
• Receive, organize, and assist with the handling of resident deliveries and packages.
• 
  Must be able to lift and move heavy packages as part of daily responsibilities.
• Conduct routine patrols of the building and surrounding property.
• Report security concerns, maintenance issues, and incidents promptly and accurately.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies and follow site procedures.
• Maintain a professional appearance, strong communication skills, and reliable attendance.

• Valid NYS Security Guard License.
• Previous residential security or customer service experience is a plus.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift heavy packages safely.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
