SECURITY OFFICERS – PART-TIME & FULL-TIME POSITIONS

Eastern Security Corp is hiring professional Security Officers for immediate part-time and full-time openings. We are seeking dependable, customer-service-oriented individuals who take pride in maintaining a safe and secure environment.

REGULAR SECURITY POSITIONS

SHIFT 1 — FULL-TIME (40 HOURS PER WEEK)

• Monday and Tuesday: 10:00 PM–6:00 AM Friday through Sunday: 11:00 PM–7:00 AM

SHIFT 2 — FULL-TIME (40 HOURS PER WEEK)

• Wednesday and Thursday: 10:00 PM–6:00 AM Friday and Saturday: 9:00 PM–5:00 AM Sunday: 2:00 PM–10:00 PM

SHIFT 3 — FULL-TIME (40 HOURS PER WEEK)

• Monday through Friday: 12:00 AM–8:00 AM

SHIFT 4 — FULL-TIME (40 HOURS PER WEEK)

• Monday through Friday: 4:00 PM–12:00 AM

SHIFT 5 — FULL-TIME (40 HOURS PER WEEK)

• Monday through Friday: 3:00 PM–11:00 PM

MEAL-RELIEF POSITIONS

Shifts 6–10 are traveling meal-relief positions. Officers will travel by train to approximately four different sites during their shifts to provide meal coverage.

Applicants must be comfortable riding the trains and traveling between assigned sites during morning, afternoon, evening, and overnight hours. A MetroCard will be provided for required site-to-site travel.

SHIFT 6 — FULL-TIME (40 HOURS PER WEEK)

• Sunday through Thursday: 4:00 PM–12:00 AM

SHIFT 7 — FULL-TIME (40 HOURS PER WEEK)

• Tuesday through Thursday: 8:00 AM–4:00 PM Friday and Saturday: 4:00 PM–12:00 AM

SHIFT 8 — FULL-TIME (40 HOURS PER WEEK)

• Wednesday through Sunday: 12:00 AM–8:00 AM

SHIFT 9 — PART-TIME (32 HOURS PER WEEK)

• Monday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday: 8:00 AM–4:00 PM

SHIFT 10 — PART-TIME (16 HOURS PER WEEK)

• Monday and Tuesday: 12:00 AM–8:00 AM

Anyone arriving without a résumé will not be interviewed. Interview and training attire: Black suit, white dress shirt, black tie, and black dress shoes. Immediate training is available. Applicants must already own a black suit before beginning training. Applicants must clearly identify the shift number for which they are applying.

REQUIREMENTS

• Valid New York State Security Guard License, which must be presented at the interview Minimum of three years of security experience Professional demeanor and excellent customer-service and communication skills Ability to work cooperatively with staff and management Basic data-entry and incident-reporting skills Ability to stand for extended periods, as these are standing posts Dependable transportation and consistent punctuality Applicants for Shifts 6–10 must be comfortable traveling between multiple sites by train

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet and assist tenants and visitors professionally and courteously Maintain a visible, alert, and professional security presence Report unusual incidents, safety concerns, and suspicious activity to a supervisor Complete accurate and timely incident reports Follow all site policies and company procedures Work cooperatively with building staff, management, and fellow Security Officers Provide meal relief at multiple assigned sites when working Shifts 6–10
