SECURITY OFFICER (F02) (40hr Shelter Training Certificate)

As a leading security officer in a Residential Building, Shelter, Hotel or School your role will be to ensure the safety and satisfaction of the community by performing a range of essential tasks.

These include but are not limited to :

• Warmly greeting both incoming and outgoing tenants,
• Handling the fire panel and addressing any alerts or concerns, taking systme offline when required
• Writing detailed reports, making log entries and submitting reports through online report system
• Performing fire inspection and handling fire drills
• Securing the lobby and front desk area and assisting in all other security matters
• Greeting guests and directing guests to proper staff when addressed by guests
• Supervising and provideing deircetions to other security staff
• Diligently monitoring the building and its surroundings through CCTV
• Ensuring that all guests and vendors adhere to the proper access control guidelines.
• Your duties will also involve securing the premises and offering security assistance whenever required
• Additionally, you will be responsible for providing incident reports and other necessary documentation to both building management and Security USA.
• Lastly, you will be expected to conduct regular patrols of the community shared areas within the building

Qualifications:

• Valid NY Security Guard License
• F02 certificate
• MUST HAVE 40HR SHELTER SECURITY GUARD TRAINING CERTIFICATE
• 2 years experience is preferred
• MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS
• Authorized to work in the US
• Positive and Customer-oriented attitude.
• Prior Military or Law Enforcement experience is a bonus
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to handle simple computer and smartphone operations
• Must be able to stand for long hours if required
• Must be able climb stairs
• Basic knowledge of security operations and procedure
