SECURITY GUARD

10-MONTH

Salary: As Per Contract

Job Description: To patrol and protect students, personnel, buildings and grounds; perform related duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Security guard license and training is mandatory
• Good physical strength and agility
• Fingerprinting clearance required
• “Letter of Good Conduct” from local Police Department required

Essential Duties (include, but are not limited to):

• Ensure safety of persons using the premises, as required
• Provide a safe environment for students and staff
• Assist in maintaining the orderly conduct of people in and around the facility
• Act quickly and efficiently in emergency situations
• Learn and enforce security procedures and regulations; learn the layout of the areas to be guarded
• Deal effectively with the public and to be courteous
• Understand and carry out oral and written directions
• Other duties as required

Location: District-Wide
