Security Guard – Community Housing

Commack, NY | $17.50/hour | Weekly Pay
Shift/Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday (12:00AM – 8:00AM) Full-time

Arrow Security is seeking a professional and dependable Security Guard for a residential condominium community in Commack, NY. This position involves working in an outdoor gatehouse/booth environment, monitoring multiple access gates, conducting foot patrols, and maintaining a safe and secure community for residents and guests.

We are looking for someone who is tech-savvy, attentive, and comfortable using security systems such as Lighthouse or similar reporting platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access at multiple residential gates
• Perform scheduled foot patrols and checkpoint inspections
• Operate security reporting and tracking systems (Lighthouse experience preferred)
• Observe and report suspicious activity, incidents, or safety concerns
• Maintain accurate logs and incident reports
• Provide professional customer service to residents and visitors
• Respond to incidents and escalate issues when necessary
• Support overall site safety and security operations

Qualifications:

• Valid NYS Security Guard License
• 2+ years of security experience preferred
• Comfortable working indoors/outdoors and standing/walking for extended periods
• Tech-savvy and able to use mobile/security reporting systems
• Strong communication and professionalism
• CPR/First Aid certification a plus
• Military or law enforcement background preferred
