MUST HAVE SECRET CLEARANCE/TIER 3 – SECURITY OFFICERS

Position Overview

Veterans Security Corps of America (VSC) is seeking professional, dependable, and highly motivated Security Officers to support security operations at ATI Additive Manufacturing Products in Margate, Florida.

This position will support specialized customer requirements and sensitive operations within a manufacturing environment. Specific safeguarding responsibilities and customer requirements will be communicated during onboarding and site-specific training.

Candidates must be flexible and available to work extended shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• Active U.S. Department of Defense Secret Security Clearance orTier 3 Background Check ( Required)
• U.S. Citizen
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to successfully pass employment screening requirements
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior military, law enforcement, security, or government contracting experience
• Current or previous armed security qualifications
• Experience working in government, defense, industrial, or controlled-access environments
• Experience with access control, visitor management, and security reporting

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional security presence during assigned shifts
• Control facility access and verify credentials
• Conduct security patrols and inspections
• Monitor designated security areas
• Observe and report suspicious activity
• Complete logs, reports, and required documentation
• Support customer security requirements and site procedures
• Respond to emergencies and security incidents as required
• Perform other security-related duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours per shift
• Ability to work second and third shifts
• Ability to patrol indoor and outdoor areas
• Ability to climb stairs and perform routine security inspections
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions when required
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally

Work Schedule

• 12-hour shifts
• Primarily second and third shifts
• Rotating schedule based on operational requirements
• Overtime opportunities may be available
