We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Law Enforcement Security Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in either military or law enforcement, with a minimum of 4-5 years of experience in corrections. As a crucial member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises, assets, and personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Security Patrols: Conduct regular patrols of the assigned area to detect and deter any suspicious activity. Maintain a visible presence to deter unauthorized access and ensure compliance with security procedures.
2. Emergency Response: Respond promptly and effectively to any emergencies or incidents, including but not limited to medical emergencies, disturbances, or security breaches. Take appropriate action to mitigate risks and ensure the safety of all individuals involved.
3. Access Control: Control access to the premises by verifying identification, conducting searches when necessary, and enforcing entry procedures. Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms to identify potential security threats.
4. Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments and security evaluations to identify vulnerabilities and recommend measures to enhance security protocols. Stay updated on current security trends and threats to proactively address potential risks.
5. Report Writing: Maintain accurate and detailed records of security incidents, including observations, actions taken, and any relevant information. Prepare comprehensive incident reports for management review and legal documentation.

Tuesday: 9:00am – 6:00pm
Wednesday: 9:00am – 6:00pm
Thursday: 9:00am – 6:00pm
Friday: 9:00am – 6:00pm
Saturday: OFF
Sunday: OFF
Qualifications:
– Minimum 4-5 years of experience in corrections, military, or law enforcement.
– Completion of relevant training programs, such as firearms training, defensive tactics, and first aid/CPR certification.
– Strong knowledge of security principles, procedures, and protocols.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with individuals at all levels.
– Proficiency in report writing and documentation.
– Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
– Valid state-issued security license and firearms permit.
– Clean criminal record and drug-free lifestyle.
