Responsibilities

• Monitor surveillance systems and conduct regular CCTV inspections to detect suspicious activity or security breaches.
• Control access to premises using advanced access control systems, verifying identities and authorizations for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
• Perform routine patrols of the facility, including designated secure areas, parking lots, and perimeter fences to identify potential vulnerabilities or hazards.
• Respond swiftly to emergency situations by implementing established procedures such as fire drills, medical incidents, or security breaches.
• Write detailed incident reports documenting security events, accidents, or violations with clarity and accuracy for future review.
• Conduct background checks on new employees or vendors as part of the onboarding process to ensure compliance with security policies.
• Utilize conflict management skills to de-escalate tense situations calmly while maintaining safety for all parties involved.

Skills

• Proven experience in physical security operations with knowledge of surveillance equipment and law enforcement procedures.
• Skilled in manual handling techniques such as heavy lifting and safe movement of objects or individuals when necessary.
• Strong understanding of security regulations, compliance standards, and incident report writing best practices.
• Expertise in performing background checks and conducting thorough security screenings during access control processes.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse audiences.
• Competence in firearm handling, Taser deployment, fire safety measures, and emergency response procedures.
• Ability to manage conflicts effectively through de-escalation techniques while maintaining a calm demeanor under pressure.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
