Accounting Specialist (Payroll, AP, Asset Management)

The ideal candidate for the position of Accounting Specialist has a minimum of two years experience in Accounting and Payroll.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Process payroll accurately and on schedule using Sage 100 and ADP
• Manage full-cycle accounts payable, including invoice coding, approvals, vendor communication, and payment processing
• Maintain and track company assets (vehicles, equipment, tools), including reconciliation and reporting
• Assist with general accounting functions such as account reconciliations
• Collaborate with operations, HR, and management to support financial processes.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• 2+ years of accounting experience (construction or service industry experience strongly preferred)
• Hands-on experience with payroll and accounts payable required
• Experience with Sage 100 and ADP (accounting and/or payroll) strongly preferred
• Experience with asset/equipment tracking preferred
• Familiarity with job costing and project accounting is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
