Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security risks
• Monitor surveillance systems, including CCTV cameras, to oversee activity and respond promptly to suspicious behavior
• Manage access control systems to verify identities and authorize entry for employees, visitors, and contractors
• Write detailed incident reports documenting any security breaches, accidents, or unusual activities
• Perform background checks on visitors or vendors as part of security clearance procedures
• Respond swiftly to emergency situations by following established protocols, including first aid, CPR, AED operation, or fire safety procedures
• Enforce security regulations and policies with professionalism, including conflict de-escalation and conflict management when necessary

Qualifications

• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable
• Knowledge of surveillance technology, access control systems, and manual handling techniques
• Certifications in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and Taser use are preferred
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical security tasks as required during patrols or incident responses
• Strong communication skills for incident report writing and customer service interactions
• Familiarity with emergency response procedures and compliance with security regulations
• Demonstrated ability to manage conflicts calmly and effectively in high-pressure situations

Pay: $15.00 – $18.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
