Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of designated premises to monitor for suspicious activity and ensure physical security measures are upheld.
• Control access points using advanced access control systems, verifying identities and authorizations for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
• Respond swiftly to incidents by writing detailed reports, managing conflict de-escalation, and coordinating with law enforcement or emergency responders as needed.
• Operate surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras and monitor live feeds to detect unauthorized activity or security breaches.
• Perform background checks on personnel or visitors when required, ensuring compliance with security regulations.
• Utilize firearm handling skills responsibly, including Taser and firearm use, adhering strictly to safety protocols and legal requirements.
• Execute emergency response procedures effectively, including CPR, AED operation, first aid administration, and fire safety measures.
• Maintain thorough documentation of daily activities, incident reports, and security logs to ensure accurate record-keeping.

Requirements

• Proven experience in physical security or law enforcement roles with a focus on armed security operations.
• Valid certification for firearm handling, Taser use, CPR, AED operation, and first aid training.
• Strong surveillance skills utilizing CCTV systems and experience with access control systems.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely when required.
• Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations effectively.
• Knowledge of emergency response procedures including fire safety protocols and incident report writing.
• Familiarity with compliance standards related to security regulations and legal requirements governing armed security personnel.
• Background in military service or law enforcement is highly desirable but not mandatory.
