Afternoon Security Guard

Responsibilities

• Patrol designated areas regularly to deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized entry.
• Monitor security cameras (CCTV) to observe activity and identify potential security breaches or suspicious behavior.
• Control access points by verifying identification and authorizing entry for employees, visitors, and contractors.
• Respond swiftly to alarms or incidents, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency responders as necessary.
• Conduct routine inspections of the premises, including fences, gates, and emergency exits, to ensure security measures are intact.
• Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks for accountability and reporting purposes.
• Enforce loss prevention policies by identifying potential theft or misconduct and taking appropriate action.

Pay: From $17.50 per hour
