Armed Security Officer – Immediate Openings

Job Summary

Strategic Security Services is currently hiring 1 Armed Security Officers for immediate placement at a retail location in North Hollywood.

We are looking for dependable, professional officers who can be interviewed and receive training immediately and are comfortable working 12-hour overnight shifts.

Schedule:

• Friday–Sunday
• 12-hour graveyard shifts (7pm-7am)
• 36 hours per week
• Pay: $19.00 per hour
• Start Date: 10/9/26

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional and visible security presence at the assigned location
• Monitor CCTV surveillance to observe the property and surrounding areas for suspicious activity.
• Conduct routine patrols throughout the shift
• Monitor entrances, exits, customers, visitors, and activity on the premises
• Help prevent theft, trespassing, disturbances, and other security issues
• Respond appropriately to incidents and de-escalate situations when possible
• Contact management, law enforcement, or emergency services when necessary
• Complete accurate daily activity and incident reports
• Follow all site-specific post orders and company procedures
• Remain alert, professional, and attentive throughout the entire shift

Requirements

• Valid California BSIS Guard Card — REQUIRED
• Valid BSIS Exposed Firearm Permit — REQUIRED
• Must possess all required documentation to legally work an armed security assignment in California
• Reliable transportation
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Professional appearance and communication
• Ability to work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday graveyard shifts
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts
• Must be available to start immediately
• Prior armed security experience preferred
• Dispensary/retail security experience is a plus
