Armed Security Officer

Job description

Close Range International is seeking Armed Security Officers for City Of Los Angeles facilities to become an integral part of our team. The selected individuals will patrol and secure assigned premises as well as identify risks to staff and patrons.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

18 years or older, US Citizen or Lawful Resident with the ability to work in the USA, Current B.S.I.S. Guard Card AND Current B.S.I.S. Exposed Firearm Permit (.38, 40 or 9MM ONLY-Must Own Your Own Weapon to use on duty and have Three (3) 10 round magazines and a Level 2 or Level 3 duty holster), Pepper Spray and BSIS Baton Permit Required as well as Current CPR, AED and First Aid Certification, 1 Year Experience as a B.S.I.S. licensed California Security Guard. No Felony Arrests/Convictions, Good References. Must be available to work on weekends and holidays.

City of Los Angeles Grooming Requirements are MANDATORY. This is contractually required by the City of Los Angeles, and we have no flexibility. Ability to adhere to City of Los Angeles Grooming Requirements are MANDATORY. (Sorry- Tattoos showing, or Piercings in while On Duty).

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
• Respond to incidents and manage conflicts using effective conflict resolution techniques.
• Operate surveillance equipment and maintain vigilance to detect suspicious activities.
• Administer first aid and CPR when necessary, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services as needed, maintaining proper documentation.
• Ensure all security equipment is functional and report any malfunctions immediately.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
