Level 4 Security Officer

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive patrols of premises using CCTV systems, access control systems, and physical security measures to identify and address potential threats.
• Manage access control by verifying identities, performing background checks, and authorizing entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
• Respond promptly to incidents by writing detailed incident reports, managing conflict de-escalation procedures, and executing emergency response protocols including fire safety and medical emergencies.
• Operate specialized equipment such as Taser devices, firearms (where authorized), AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators), and perform CPR or first aid as needed to assist injured individuals.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or incidents involving criminal activity or security breaches.
• Perform surveillance activities including CCTV monitoring, heavy lifting during patrols or incident management, and conducting visual inspections of the premises.
• Maintain compliance with all security regulations by performing background checks on new personnel, documenting activities accurately, and ensuring adherence to safety standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience in physical security roles with knowledge of law enforcement procedures and military background preferred.
• Certification in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and familiarity with emergency response procedures.
• Skilled in the use of access control systems, CCTV surveillance technology, and incident report writing.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and maintaining physical security protocols during long shifts.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations effectively.
• Knowledge of firearm handling (where permitted), Taser use, and compliance with security regulations is highly desirable.
• Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanor when interacting with staff and visitors.
• Ability to perform background checks on personnel or vendors as part of access control procedures.
• Must have level 4 physically in hand and can maintain a professional demeaner for high profile clientele.

Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour
