Armed Security Officer – Transportation Security

Pay: $22/hr

Location: Houston, TX 77054

Schedule: Full-Time, Mornings, 50 hours/week

• Tuesday: 06:00AM – 04:00PM
• Wednesday: 06:00AM – 04:00PM
• Thursday: 06:00AM – 04:00PM
• Friday: 06:00AM – 04:00PM
• Saturday: 06:00AM – 04:00PM

City Security Services is hiring Transit Security Officers to provide security coverage within assigned facilities.

This is a hands-on security position requiring officers to remain alert, communicate professionally, follow procedures, and respond appropriately to changing circumstances.

Core Responsibilities

• Conduct routine security patrols.
• Maintain assigned posts.
• Monitor public and restricted areas.
• Respond to alarms and emergency situations.
• Assist passengers, employees, and visitors.
• Provide basic first aid when required.
• Identify and report hazards.
• Report facility and equipment issues.
• Monitor visitor access.
• Respond to unauthorized access.
• Contact police, fire, EMS, and supervisors as appropriate.
• Complete incident reports.
• Perform duties assigned by the Security Manager.

Required Qualifications

Applicants must meet the specified education/experience requirements and possess:

• Active Level 3 certification.
• Guard license in hand.
• Baton certification.
• OC certification.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Clean three-year driving record.
• Ability to pass the PRT.
• Ability to complete 24-hour training.
• Basic technical skills.
• Minimum age of 21.
