U.S. Guard Co. is hiring Level III Armed Security Officers for our newest apartment community contract in Fort Worth, Texas.

We are looking for professional, dependable, physically capable, hospitality-minded officers who understand that great security is more than simply being present.

IMPORTANT DATES

Physical Fitness Testing: August 11 & August 12, August 16th 2026
Mandatory Orientation: August 13 & 17th 2026
Contract Start / First Shift: August 20, 2026

Candidates must be able to complete the required hiring process prior to deployment.

AVAILABLE SHIFTS

This property operates Monday–Sunday.

Available shifts include:

Evening Shift:
6:00 PM – 10:00 PM
4-hour shifts

Overnight Shift:
10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
8-hour shifts

Full-time and part-time schedules are available based on staffing needs and availability.

PAY

$20.00–$25.00 per hour

Final starting rate may be based on experience, qualifications, availability, performance, and assignment responsibilities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Level III Armed Security Officer assigned to this apartment community, you will help maintain a safe, professional, secure, and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Patrol the apartment community using a designated patrol cart
  • Conduct regular patrols of parking areas, buildings, common areas, entrances, and other designated locations
  • Conduct checks of vacant apartment units
  • Maintain a highly visible security presence throughout the property
  • Serve as a professional deterrent to criminal activity, trespassing, theft, vandalism, and disturbances
  • Interact professionally and hospitably with residents and guests
  • Assist residents when appropriate while maintaining professional boundaries
  • Identify suspicious activity and promptly report security or safety concerns
  • Monitor areas of concern identified by property management
  • Help enforce property rules and trespassing policies within the scope of your authority
  • Respond appropriately to disturbances, suspicious persons, resident concerns, and other security-related incidents
  • Conduct routine property and safety observations
  • Maintain communication with dispatch, supervisors, and management
  • Complete digital activity reports, incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation
  • Document unusual activity accurately and professionally
  • Immediately communicate serious incidents through the appropriate chain of command
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor throughout the entire shift
  • Remain alert, visible, and present on the property throughout your assigned shift

We will train you on our digital reporting and logging systems.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must:

  • Be 21 years of age or older
  • Hold an ACTIVE Texas Level III Security Officer license/guard card
  • Have a valid Texas driver’s license
  • Have reliable transportation
  • Have reliable cellular phone service at all times
  • Live within 30 miles of Fort Worth, TX 76110
  • Be able to successfully complete our physical fitness test
  • Be available to attend the required one-day orientation
  • Have your own firearm appropriate for armed security duty
  • Be legally eligible to possess and carry the required firearm
  • Maintain professional grooming and appearance standards
  • Have no facial tattoos
  • Be willing to submit to random drug testing when required

REQUIRED / PREFERRED EQUIPMENT

Required:
Your own firearm

Preferred:

  • All-black plate carrier / vest
  • All-black duty belt

If you do not currently have an approved plate carrier or duty belt, equipment may be provided if needed.
