Armed Security Officer

National Cinema Security is now recruiting Armed Security Officers for movie theater security. We are hiring IMMEDIATELY. We work with all the larger movie chains in providing premier movie theater security. We are looking for Officers that can work Fridays and Saturdays (Sundays optional). We start our shifts at 1800 and we work until the close of a theater which is typically between 0100 and 0200. This is PART TIME ONLY.

You MUST be able to work both in Columbus AND/OR the surrounding suburbs(Grove City, Hilliard, Dublin, Easton, North Columbus, and Pickerington). ALL OF OUR POSITIONS ARE PART TIME AND ON CALL TO START.

Listed below are the requirements for the position. They are REQUIRED, not preferred:

Police Officer with active Commission with an Agency in Ohio with the following: Recent Requalification score sheet for the current year, SF400 from OPOTA or a copy of your Police ID and Badge.

OR

Retired Law Enforcement with retired credentials i.e. Retired Credentials and LEOSA weapons requalification card or score sheet.

OR

20-hour OPOTA Private Security Certification which is still valid OR the 4- Hour OPOTA Refresher Certificate.

Candidates must either have BOTH handcuff and baton certification or be able to obtain certification within the 1st 3 months of employment.

Candidate must possess their own firearm and duty gear to include duty belt, holster, magazine holder, flashlight, baton, handcuffs and appropriate duty pants and footwear.

Candidates must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time up to and over (8) hours. All of our positions include static and foot patrols.

Candidates must be able to complete a fingerprint and Guard Card process ($50-$125 cost) to get their license with our organization.

Candidates for the regular part time positions must be able to work at least parts of the weekends which would be Friday thru Sunday. Candidates must also be able to work HOLIDAYS if needed.

Candidates must show proof of right to work in the United States PRIOR to working any position for National Cinema Security or any of our affiliated companies (Global Security Services/DeLuca Associates Inc.)
