Saturday/Sunday (7 am – 7pm)

We are seeking a vigilant, observant, and flexible Level 2 Security Officer to join our team. The selected individual will monitor and patrol the premises of a Class A commercial building through video surveillance and foot patrols.

Responsibilities:

• Provide a professional, and welcoming experience for tenants, visitors, vendors, and guests.
• Maintain a highly visible presence by staying engaged and enforcing rules, company policies, and client procedures.
• Greet everyone in the building within 5 feet with a courteous greeting, smile, or hand wave of acknowledgement.
• Answer questions, provide directions, and verify credentials when needed.
• Examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security upon arrival and throughout the shift.
• Conduct interior and exterior patrols of the building as directed by the client.
• Monitor CCTV systems, access control systems, and other security technology.
• Report any facility issues such as fire hazards, power malfunctions, and leaking water pipes.
• Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations.
• Coordinate with property management, tenants, emergency responders, and law enforcement when necessary.
• Maintain confidentiality of daily operations, and information regarding tenants and visitors.

​Qualifications:

• Three years of experience in security surveillance, on-site observation, and reporting
• Ability to complete required training
• Level II active pocket card issued by DPS Private Security Bureau
• Sharp attention to detail
• Ability to stay alert and active for long shifts
• Working smartphone with competent use and knowledge
• A flexible schedule to assist and fill in when needed
• The ability to handle a physical workload and walk up and down stairs repetitively
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening test
• Dependable and adaptable
• Ability to work independently
• Reliable transportation
• Stable work history
• Computer software knowledge and experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent observation skills
• Knowledge of legal guidelines
• Experience with writing reports and using security equipment with smart devices
• Must operate with professionalism and possess a strong work ethic
• Good hygiene and neat appearance
• Previous military, law enforcement, hospitality, or Class A building experience preferred.
