Job Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring premises, managing access points, and ensuring the safety of staff, visitors, and property. Responsibilities

• Control access for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors, verifying identities and issuing passes as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of the property to observe for suspicious activity or safety hazards.
• Respond promptly to alarms or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
• Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks to ensure accurate record-keeping.
• Assist with conflict management by calmly de-escalating situations and enforcing site policies.
• Support loss prevention efforts by identifying theft or vandalism and reporting suspicious behavior.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields required.
• Must have a valid Texas Guard Card or be A-Post Certified.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License.
• Must have a working cell phone with data and the ability to download apps for work.
• Familiarity with surveillance equipment, fire watch, and security protocols.
• Strong observational skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergency situations effectively.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members, visitors, and emergency responders.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods throughout the shift.

Pay: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour
