Key Information:

Job Title: Security Officer

Rate: London Living Wage: £13.85

Contracted Hours: Shift Rotation: 3 day / 3 night / 3 off

Average Hours; 56 hrs per week

Role:

Working within this Central London building and a prime location of London, in the heart of the West End, your
primary role is to ensure the security of people, premises and property, protecting the reputation of the
client/tenants throughout.

You will support the delivery of a truly exceptional customer journey for both staff and visitors. To achieve this,
you will be/become well versed in the processes and practices of a Security professional. Excellence in
customer service will be at the heart of the role. You will be part of a well drilled security operation.

To ensure synergy across our service providers, we work with a ‘one team’ approach to successfully deliver an
excellent customer journey so in this role you will work closely with construction staff, cleaning, maintenance
and on-site management. Which will in order to provide an environment which is welcoming and relaxed yet
safe and secure at all times.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver outstanding customer service to staff and visitors
• Take an active interest in, and give commitment to the client and tenants
• Ensure that the environment and service is truly excellent and beyond expectation
• Be flexible and adaptable to all tasks or challenges
• Work as part of a multi man team
• Be accountable; take responsibility and ownership for any tasks identified or allocated
• Ensure all contact, be it internal or external; by telephone, face to face or any other medium; is clear, courteous, polite, professional and respectful
• Ensure complete client/tenant/other service provider confidentiality; protecting people and informationis paramount
• Appropriate use of CCTV/access control and any other electronic management system, and completion of reports and documentation in a timely fashionn
• Be familiar with all Security and Emergency procedures on site and assist in the facilitation of their safe execution and practice. There may also be a need to become a fire marshal, training will be provided
• Completion of rostered duties and all associated tasks or responsibilities to the highest possible standard
• To complete any other reasonable task as instructed by the onsite management or other Senior
• Manager, either Unitrust or at the request of the Client and/or tenants
• To support internal and external audit processes from Unitrust Security representatives, Client/Tenant
• Representatives, the SIA, any other relevant body with a relevant interest and valid reason for inspection or compliance checks
• To act with integrity and in the best interests of the company in a safe, compliant and ethical manner
• To be resilient to working in the most sensitive environments, dealing with any conflict with a respectful and empathic approach at all times
• Be prepared to manage a wide variety and diversity of scenarios, people and challenges

• Operation of CCTV/access control communications in an appropriate manner
• Flexibly and knowledge across all positions within the contract
• Ability to work rostered shift pattern, weekend Saturday and Sundays each week. 24 hrs per week.
