Responsibilities

• Utilize CCTV systems to observe and analyze activity across various areas, identifying potential security threats or irregularities.
• Enforce loss prevention measures by identifying theft or vandalism and responding appropriately to prevent incidents.
• Manage access control by verifying credentials, issuing visitor passes, and maintaining accurate logs of all entries and exits.
• Respond swiftly and professionally to security incidents or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
• Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and surveillance records to ensure accurate documentation of daily activities.
• Engage courteously with visitors, employees, and contractors to promote a positive security experience while upholding safety standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience in law enforcement, security operations, or related fields demonstrating strong observational skills.
• Familiarity with surveillance technology, including CCTV systems, and the ability to operate them effectively.
• Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and best practices for deterring theft and vandalism.
• Ability to remain alert during long shifts while maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with diverse individuals in a respectful manner.
• Valid security license or certification as required by local regulations (if applicable).
• Physical ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods as needed.
