Security Guard – Vancouver

Job Overview:
We are seeking reliable and professional Security Guards to join our team in Vancouver. The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, integrity, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity
• Control access points and verify credentials of visitors and staff
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies
• Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate logs
• Provide excellent customer service while enforcing site policies
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when required

Requirements:

• Valid BC Security Worker License
• First Aid/CPR certification (preferred)
• Previous security experience is an asset, but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and handle stressful situations calmly
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
