Security Field Support Supervisor – Burnaby / Day Shift

We are seeking an experienced, proactive, and customer-focused security professional for the position of Field Support Supervisor (Full-Time).

The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for field staff support and supervision. A strong knowledge and understanding of company policies and procedures is required. Other operational roles and duties in a supportive capacity may be assigned from time to time.

Responsibilities

• Conduct briefings for special coverage assignments
• Perform impromptu and scheduled site visits and staff assessments
• Assist with alarm response and building patrols
• Liaise between clients and site staff in emergency situations
• Conduct staff follow-up meetings for disciplinary issues
• Provide intervention or assistance with employee emergencies or injuries
• Deliver of uniform and other items to field staff

Auditing reports

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of supervisory experience
• At least 3 years of security experience
• A valid BC Security Worker License
• Valid Basic First Aid Certification (OFA Level 1 or equivalent)
• Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driving record
• High school diploma is required at a minimum, however post secondary education is preferred
• Excellent communication skills (including phone, email and report-writing)
• Strong computer skills (including use of Tracktik software)
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive relationships with staff and clients
• Strong organizing and planning skills
• Ability to work without close supervision
• Good physical fitness

Reporting Structure

• This position reports directly to the Operations Manager.
• The successful candidate will be required to regularly interact with all Security Officers and Supervisors, as well as various members of SSRG Management.
