Security Operations Centre (SOC) Operator – FIFA World Cup

Securiguard is seeking Security Operations Centre (SOC) Operators for a contract opportunity supporting security operations during the FIFA World Cup 2026 in Vancouver. This is a critical behind-the-scenes role supporting real-time security operations across the event. As part of the Dispatch/SOC team, you will play a key role in coordinating personnel, monitoring systems, and ensuring clear communication to support a safe and efficient event environment.

Pay Rate: $40.00 per hour

Schedule: Full-Time (Contract – June11th to July 18th, 2026)

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage CCTV feeds across 200 cameras deployed throughout the city
• Operate within the Milestone Video Management System (VMS) and Brief Cam analytics platform
• Display and manage live camera feeds to support SOC operations and decision-making
• Retrieve, review, and present footage during incident response and operational briefings’
• Dispatch security personnel and coordinate responses based on real-time intelligence
• Maintain clear and professional radio and phone communication with field teams
• Receive, prioritize, and log calls for service and operational requests
• Conduct outbound check-ins with field personnel to ensure safety and well-being
• Maintain accurate incident logs, reports, and documentation
• Support overall event operations by ensuring timely coordination and information flow
• Follow established procedures and protocols during routine and emergency situations

Requirements

• Valid BC Security Worker Licence
• Experience in a SOC, CCTV monitoring, or dispatch environment
• Experience with Video Monitoring system (VMS )and Brief Cam is an asset.
• Strong situational awareness and ability to work in a high-pressure, real-time environment
• Excellent communication, coordination, and decision-making skills
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy in reporting
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends for the entire Fifa season.
• Availability through out the entire FIFA Season- June 11th to July 18th, 2026
