Loss Prevention Officer

Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Loss Prevention Officer to join our security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preventing theft, and maintaining a secure environment in our retail warehouse. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to security concerns. Prior experience in security is highly valued, along with familiarity with surveillance systems and CCTV operations. The Loss Prevention Officer plays a critical role in deterring theft, reducing shrinkage, and ensuring the safety of employees and members alike.

Requirements: BST1 Security license

Responsibilities

• Monitor store premises using CCTV and surveillance equipment to detect suspicious activities or potential thefts.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility to identify security risks or breaches.
• Collaborate with store management and law enforcement agencies during investigations of theft or other incidents.
• Document incidents thoroughly and accurately, including detailed reports of suspicious behavior or security breaches.
• Implement loss prevention strategies by analyzing surveillance footage and behavior patterns.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding security matters and sensitive information.

Skills

• Proven experience in law enforcement, security, or loss prevention roles is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of surveillance systems, CCTV operation, and monitoring techniques.
• Excellent observational skills with an ability to identify suspicious behavior quickly.
• Ability to remain calm and professional during high-pressure situations or emergencies.
• Good communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and effectively.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical abilities for investigating thefts or security breaches.

Pay: $20.00-$34.00 per hour
