Event Security Guards – Temporary Event Shifts

We are hiring Security Guards for upcoming event shifts from October 10 to October 23, 2026.

We are looking for reliable, professional, and customer-service-oriented security guards to work 8-hour evening shifts, with shifts starting at approximately 2:00 PM.

Position Details

• Position: Event Security Guard
• Dates: October 10–23, 2026
• Shift: Approximately 2:00 PM start
• Duration: 8 hours per shift
• Employment: Temporary / Event-Based

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests, staff, and event participants
• Monitor entrances, exits, and designated areas
• Conduct regular patrols as required
• Assist with crowd control and event security
• Respond professionally to incidents and emergencies
• Follow site procedures and supervisor instructions
• Provide professional customer service to event attendees

Requirements

• Valid Security Worker Licence in British Columbia
• Reliable and punctual
• Professional appearance and communication skills
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Previous event security experience is an asset
• Ability to work evening shifts
• Strong observation and communication skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
