Special Event Security Staff
We are continually seeking to hire experienced Event Security Guards with a valid BC security license to join our quality team on a full and part time basis.

Are you a highly experienced Uniformed Security Officer with 1 plus years of verifiable experience, if so we currently have amazing positions available? You can work close to home because we are hiring in all parts of the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley to include Vancouver, Surrey, Langley, Coquitlam, Burnaby, North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Richmond, New Westminster, Delta, and Abbotsford.

Our ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Excellent verbal written communication and (Crown Counsel) report writing skills
• Have a good understanding of the Criminal Code of Canada, and applying it during apprehensions
• Posses demonstrated superior Professionalism and Customer Service experience
• Must be able to learn and follow internal policies and procedures
• Must have keen eye for detail
• Must be able to work in a fast pace constantly changing environment
• Assertive Motivated, Disciplined Calm and Respectful demeanor
• 1-year in the Security / LPO industry and experience preventing theft of store merchandise
• Cognitive skills and apprehension techniques is preferred as is experience making legal arrests
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Must be reliable and available for daytime, evening, and weekend shifts
• OFA 1 and 2 an asset!

Qualifications / Skills

· A Valid Basic Security Training (BST) license is mandatory

· Having a working Phone with data plan

· Advanced Security Training (AST) is an asset

· Past work experience in the Loss Prevention field

· Past work experience in the Security Industry

· Recognized First Aid and CPR Certificate considered an asset

· Flexible availability, preference given to those available on weekends
