Job Summary
We are seeking a professional, friendly, and reliable Security Concierge to join our team. Under the direction of the Site Supervisor. As a Security Concierge you will be responsible for supporting residents and guests by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and handling complaints in a courteous and efficient manner.
As the first point of contact for residents and guests, you’ll play a key role in creating a safe, welcoming environment while ensuring building policies and procedures are upheld.
Job Responsibilities:
· Provide excellent customer service while enforcing safety and security protocols
· Respond to incidents and emergencies promptly and effectively, including but not limited to fire alarms, medical situations, disturbances, and unauthorized access.
· Collaborate with law enforcement, emergency services, and site management when necessary.
· Notify proper authorities, Property Manager, and Pillar Management in emergency situations
· Enforce safety regulations at work site
· Enforce building rules and assist with noise complaints or parking violations.
· Review reports from guards for completeness and activity needing follow-up
· Provide written and oral reports to the Property Manager and Pillar management as needed.
· Investigate and/or report hazards and unusual or suspicious circumstances to the Property Manager and Pillar Management for correction or follow-up actions
· Operate security systems, including surveillance cameras, alarm panels, and communication devices.
· Maintain accurate logs of visitor check-ins, deliveries, and incident reports
· Ensure that documents are filed correctly (i.e., Party Room forms, Elevator forms…)
· Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas (interior and/or exterior).
· Monitor access control points and verify credentials of visitors, employees, and contractors.
· Follow site-specific post orders and company policies at all times.
· Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance.
Job Qualifications:
· Valid Security License
· Valid first aid or CPR certification
· Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers
· High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
· Ability to analyze and interpret the needs of clients and offer the appropriate options, solutions, and resolutions required
· Ability to quickly pick up new product and service knowledge, and communicate that knowledge effectively to customers
· Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skill with telephone etiquettes
· Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
· Skilled at identifying critical issues quickly and accurately, and implementing SOP solutions
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications..
· Police Foundations / Law Enforcement diploma is an asset
· Prior experience in security, concierge, or customer service (residential preferred)
